I am
in the Military, I will be stationed overseas as of July 10. I have 3 dogs that I am heartbroken to
give
up, but I don't have a choice now. I
won't have a house for 1-2 years and dogs
aren't allowed in the dorms. I have
tried finding them homes on my own, since
I really wanted to find people willing to communicate with me here and there,
but I know now I need to find another alternative since time is getting shorter.
I have Erica, a harlequin Great Dane (7 years
old) female. Her parents are both
champions and age well without any medical histories of hip/eye/heart related
issues. Her mom is 9 now and still
actively showing, but Erica could never be shown due to an over-bite. I've had it evaluated by a specialist and she has no special needs due to
it.
Spanky is my little male shih tzu, 8
years old. He is my rescue…I got him
from a group that shut a pet store down.
He was 5 months old and had never been outside of a kennel. He is a very sweet and submissive dog, never
growls and only barks when you're opening the front door to come home. He just likes to snuggle and chew his pigs
ears. He
and Erica are both very social, you could take a bone or food from them and they
would just wag their tails at you.
Last
of all is Daisy, my Maltese-Shih Tzu mix.
She is 9 and very much the lap dog.
I can keep them until I leave on the 10 (so until the 9th) but any help
or suggestions you might have would be
greatly
appreciated. These have been my babies
and family for a long time, they mean the world to me. It really breaks my heart to let them go, but
I'd rather find them stable and happy homes instead of foster care until I can
have them again. I want whats best for
them. Again, thank you for reading and I
hope to hear from you soon!
