Four
of the top executives of their respective fields will come together for one day
only during next month’s 2012 Women’s Leadership Conference. The two-day event
will take place Aug. 14-15 at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.
Amongst
the topics to be discussed and debated during the CEO Panel taking place
Monday, Aug. 14 at 10:30 a.m.: the delicate balance of work vs. life; how to
maintain must-needed internal trust within companies; diversity in the
workplace and where that issue stands today; how to succeed in large
corporations and non-government organizations and the development of tomorrow’s
leaders.
The
dynamic panel will include Gail McGovern, president and CEO, American Red
Cross; James J. Murren, chairman and CEO, MGM Resorts International; Maritza
Montiel; vice chairman and deputy chief executive officer – legislative
affairs, Quality & Risk and Gail Becker, chair of Canada, Latin America and
U.S. Western Region, Edelman Communications.

“Be Inspired” as its theme, the 2012 Women’s Leadership Conference is the

conference comprises two days of empowering presentations, informative

and the first African-American sisters to own a wine company; motivational
speaker Christine Cashen, and business dynamo and personal growth expert
Colette Carlson. Also notable on this year’s conference agenda are the
Honorable Carolyn Goodman, mayor of the City of Las Vegas, and State of Nevada
First Lady Kathleen Sandoval.
