On
June 13th “Las Vegas’ Pup Crawl to benefit Adopt A Rescue Pet” will take place
at Coconuts Beach Bar & Mexican Grille. What is a Pup Crawl? It is an
opportunity for dog owners throughout the Las Vegas valley to get together,
meet and greet and get to know each other. PLUS as long as your dog is well
behaved and leashed they are WELCOME. This will be the last Pup Crawl until
September. These events raise money and increase awareness for local charity
Adopt a Rescue Pet www.adoptarescuepet.org.
The
“Pup Crawl” is the creative canine idea that was thought up by local former
Puppy Mill puppy turned rescue advocate Lola Belle “The Canine Correspondent.”
Lola Belle is a Pomeranian who loves to be “social” and spread the word about
how important it is to rescue and how many animals need good homes due to the
economic downturn and the Las Vegas situation. Joining her in the hosting
duties for will be her “BF” Boy Fur, Gino Ippolito, who is also a rescued
Pomeranian. These two poms together with the dog community have raised over
$1000 so far through The Pup Crawls.
Coconuts
Beach Bar & Mexican Grill www.coconutsvegas.com offers many different

Since
obtaining non-profit approval in 2000, Adopt A Rescue Pet has grown to be one
of Nevada's largest animal rescue groups providing a safe haven for dogs suffering
from abuse, neglect or homelessness. In most of these cases, death would have
resulted if the animal had entered a municipally funded shelter. Monthly
operating expenses for food, medical care, transportation, and supplies exceed
$7,000 per month. With 300+ animals in ARP’s programs on a given day, donations
enable ARP to know how they will help tomorrow’s homeless dog to survive and
provide what it needs.
