Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer NEW Special Delicious Food!!

Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer at Excalibur Hotel & Casino now offers a full-service seated dining experience with all-new delicious appetizers added to the menu, plus a few new decadent desserts. Originally, the restaurant offered a countertop “weigh and pay” menu, but now exclusively offers waiter service for a more relaxed dining experience.

The new appetizers include Grit Fries served with a Southern cheese sauce; Texas Nachos made with barbecue brisket, shredded cheese and pico de gallo; Pulled Pork Sliders made with hand-pulled barbecue pork and cole slaw; Fried Dill Pickles served with zesty Texas ranch dressing; Spinach & Artichoke Dip served with pita chips; Smoked Chicken Wings with hot sauce, and choice of bleu cheese or ranch dressing and a House Salad. All the appetizers are priced from $4.99 to $9.99.

“Instead of going to the counter and placing orders, guests will now enjoy our new dining experience with a seated menu,” said Michael Frey, co-owner of parent company, Drive This! Entertainment. “This change gave us the freedom to add even more delicious dishes to our already mouthwatering menu.”

The new desserts include a Chocolate Chip Cookie Delight made with a giant chocolate chip cookie topped with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream, chopped nuts and hot fudge; a Strawberry Shortcake Parfait with layers of fresh cut strawberries, pound cake and house-made whipped cream and Mom’s Banana Pudding. All of the desserts are priced from $3.95 to $5.95.

All of the existing main course selections remain including Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer’s slow-cooked Beef Brisket, Jalapeño and Regular Sausage, Pork Spare Ribs and more. The signature recipes are straight from Keith Schmidt, the pit master of Kreuz Market in Texas, widely known as one of the top spots for barbecue in the nation.  Tasty side dishes including Dirty Rice, Cole Slaw and Mashed Potatoes complement the traditional southern menu.
