The
Golden Nugget Las Vegas will be the first casino and sports book in Las Vegas
to post lines on its 2012 College Football Games of the year on June 11.
This
will be the property’s sixth consecutive year announcing over one hundred key
college games of the year which take place Aug. 31 through the last game on
Dec. 8.
“Every
year we pride ourselves on being the first casino to get these games announced
to the public,” said Tony Miller, director of Golden Nugget race & sports.
“Releasing the lines this early gives sports fans their first look at what the
picks will be, as well as an opportunity to bet early on them.”
The
games released will primarily consist of major powerhouses like USC, Alabama,
LSU, Oregon and Oklahoma, but most teams from all the major conferences will be
included as well.
The
property also plans on repeating the success of its Fox Sports 920 live radio
broadcast from the Golden Nugget, with an entire show dedicated to discussing
the games.
“It’s
all about providing the ultimate experience for the customer,” said Miller.
