Sunset Station will celebrate 15 years of
providing entertainment to the Henderson community by hosting a
variety of events and activities that include a ceremony with Henderson mayor
Andy A. Hafen, who will present a proclamation to the property. Team Members
who were part of the opening team will also be present. Since Sunset Station’s
opening in June 1997, the population of Henderson has nearly doubled.
Sunset Station quickly became the popular
entertainment destination for the Henderson community. It boasts 457 hotel
rooms that include 70 junior and king suites, and more than 13,000 square feet
of meeting space. The casino floor has state-of-the art gaming that includes
more than 2,400 slot and video poker machines, a 300-seat race and sports book,
bingo hall and nearly 40 table games.
The
property offers a wide variety of entertainment to the community such as Strike
Zone bowling center, the largest in Henderson with 72 Lanes, 13-screen
multiplex and IMAX theater operated by Regal Cinemas, the 500-seat Club Madrid
concert venue, Sunset Amphitheater that holds up to 5,000 guests poolside,
dining choices including six traditional restaurants: Sonoma Cellar, Oyster
Bar, Grand Café, Cabo Mexican Restaurant, Grand Café and Hooters, in addition
to Feast Buffet and multiple quick-serve food outlets.
