Friday
night, Chris Paul hosted Baller's Ball at LAVO Nightclub with special sounds by
DJ Crooked. The Los Angeles Clippers player posed for some quick photos on the
red carpet and even signed a jersey for an adoring fan. Chris and friends
including brother CJ and Clippers rookies Travis Leslie and Trey Thompkins
kicked off the night with LAVO's signature servings in the restaurant then made
their way up to a VIP table in the nightclub. DJ Crooked shouted out the
basketball star's entrance as all eyes were on him. The group stood on top of
their booth, partying and overlooking the packed dance floor. Chris and his
friends danced all night, requesting multiple songs from DJ Crooked. Earlier
Friday, Chris geared up for the club scene as he spent the day in a cabana at
TAO Beach.
Nicole
Scherzinger also spent her day at TAO Beach. The former Pussycat Doll and
current "X Factor UK" judge started her birthday off right, in a
cabana with her girlfriends soaking in the sun and working on her tan for her
party taking place tonight. Friends including actor Hill Harper, Quinton Aaron,
best known from "The Blind Side," and cousin Meleana Brown, from the
show "Duets," joined her later in the day for dinner at LAVO Restaurant
before heading up to a VIP table in the nightclub. In the midst of dancing with
her girls, Nicole decided to jump on the mic, giving the crowd a surprise
performance of all of her hits. Her birthday weekend will resume today at TAO
Beach and will last late into the night as she continues the celebration at TAO
Nightclub.
Acclaimed
film and television producer Jerry Bruckheimer was spotted taking in the club
scene at a VIP table at Marquee.
After
checking out TAO last night, UK soccer player James Beattie, joined by former
teammates and friends, also partied to the sounds of the Stafford Brothers at
Marquee. The group was recognized by a nearby table and took some snapshots
with fans.
Fresh
from hosting The Chippendales that night, actor and singer Joey Lawrence was spotted
at a VIP table at TAO Nightclub.
