Scottish Irish Band Snow Patrol plays popular venue on LV Strip!

Snow Patrol

Snow Patrol mesmerized a packed crowd as part of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ summer entertainment experience at the resort’s Boulevard Pool.  The alternative rock band is comprised of singer Gary Lightbody, bassist Paul Wilson, guitarist Nathan Connolly, drummer Jonny Quinn and keyboardist Tom Simpson.

The Scottish/Irish five piece released their sixth album, Fallen Empires, in Jan. of this year after an inspiring road trip across California. With a career spanning 15 years, they continue to impress after their breakout release of Eyes Open, which led “Chasing Cars” to spend 104 weeks on the UK Top 75. The Grammy-nominated band dove headfirst into some of their most well known songs including “Run” and “Chasing Cars.”  As the evening progressed, concert goers were treated to fan favorites such as “In My Arms,”  “Take Back The City” and “Shut Your Eyes.”  Capping off their set, attendees left ignited by the band’s vibrant live show.  Among the crowd was celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay who enjoyed the performance under the Boulevard Pool’s moonlit sky.

Next up at the summer concert series at the Boulevard Pool is Young the Giant on Saturday, May 26 and Childish Gambino on Sunday, May 27.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas features artists at the forefront of the touring world and emerging artists that will inspire the next musical movements coupled with spectacularly-designed, technology-driven venues. Perched high above The Las Vegas Strip, Boulevard Pool is a multilevel pool experience by day and an intimate outdoor concert venue with unobstructed sightlines of both the stage and The Strip by night.
