Sky Blu
of LMFAO debuted his monthly DJ residency “Who Came To Party!?” at WET REPUBLIC
at MGM Grand. The GRAMMY® Award-nominee, singer, songwriter, producer and DJ
energized the crowd with an electrifying party as he manned the decks and spun
to thesold-out crowd before heading to perform at the Billboard Music Awards
(alsotaking place at MGM Grand).
Sky Blu
took over the DJ booth at 2 p.m. and opened the set by performing his hit
“Party Rock Anthem” a song that he created along with LMFAO member Redfoo.
Keeping the pool party packed and pumping, Sky Blu spun his popular hits
including “Sorry For Party Rocking,” “Sexy And I Know It,” “We Came Here To
Party” and many more. The performance DJ took his residency to a new level as
he incorporated dancers, instrumentalists and special guests DJs. Sky Blu was
joined by The Smiley Gang, featuring fellow BigBad artists Shwayze, Mark Rosas,
BVillain and girlfriend Chelsea Korka. Thefive performance DJs and producers took
turns manning the decks as they spun their pulsating tracks while the others
kept the crowd packed and pumping. Sky Blu was full of energy throughout the
entire performance as he was seen dancing, jumping around and even climbed the
stage to get closer to the crowd. Fans were on their feet all afternoon long,
as they came to party!
The
international artist closed the show just before 4 p.m. with a special surprise
as he emerged amongst the crowd and paraded throughout the entire venue with
his crew as he performed “Champagne Showers” and sprayed down partygoers with
champagne. He finished up in the middle of the dance floor with guests by his
side and he showed off his moves including the famous shuffle. He then thanked
everyone for coming and said he had to leave so he could make his LMFAO
performance at the Billboard Music Awards, which also took place at MGM Grand
this eveningwhere they took home awards for Hot 100 Song of the Year
("Party Rock Anthem"), Top Duo/Group and more.
