On
Saturday, April 21, Fitz and The Tantrums kicked off the SOUNDWAVES poolside
summer concert series at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Following a firework
display at the pool, the indie/pop band took the stage and performed their
signature songs including hit “MoneyGrabber.”
The
Los Angeles-based group gained quick success from their August 2010 debut album
Pickin’ Up the Pieces, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
Fitz and The Tantrums original funk, pop and soul fusion has landed them major
gigs including touring with Maroon 5 and television performances on ABC’s
“Jimmy Kimmel Live,” TBS’s “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and NBC’s “The
Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”
