Capt.
Gene Cernan, the last man to walk on the moon enjoyed a night among the stars
at the Country Superstars show located inside Golden Nugget Las Vegas.
Capt.
Gene Cernan was a Naval Aviator for 20 years, 13 of which were with NASA. Capt.
Cernan left his mark on history with three historic missions in space as the
Pilot of Gemini IX, the Lunar Module Pilot of Apollo X, and the Commander of
Apollo XVII. Capt. Cernan will always be known as the last man to leave his
footprints on the moon.
Country
Superstars, is a fast-paced, concert-style hybrid show featuring a rotating
cast of country music artists performing original songs and tribute artists
backed by a live five-piece band all inside the Golden Nugget Las Vegas.
Currently headlined by Cody Collins, former lead singer of Lonestar, performing
as himself, Country Superstars pays tribute to some of country music’s biggest
stars such as: Reba McEntire, Keith Urban, Willie Nelson, George Strait, Brooks
& Dunn, Big & Rich, and Wynonna. While Collins is best know for his
albums with Lonestar including Party Heard Around the World released in 2010,
Collins’ performance features a combination of original songs as well as
Lonestar hits including: “Walking in Memphis," “Front Porch Looking
In" and “What About Now.” With the addition of Collins, Country
Superstars, provides guests with a different and unique experience. Showtimes
are Tuesday through Thursday at 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
