The
students of the Epicurean Charitable Foundation (ECF) will participate in the
annual MS Walk on Saturday, May 5, at Town Square. As a group, the students
will join the race to support their fellow ECF scholarship recipient living
with Multiple Sclerosis, Alona Rideout, a Hotel Administration major at
University of Nevada, Las Vegas graduating in May.
Since
Rideout was first awarded with a scholarship by ECF, the organization has been
involved with the annual run to support, connect and bring awareness of the
disease with others across the country. The students of ECF work to continue to
support the community who always supports them.
Rideout,
a Las Vegas native, is currently working as a PBX Operator at the Venetian
Resort Hotel and Casino.
ECF
works to change the lives of Nevada’s students and positively impact the
community through generous contributions
from donors including Southern Wine & Spirits, Wirtz Beverage Nevada,
Diageo, Fiji Water, Coca-Cola, Johnson Brothers, MGM Resorts International,
Caesars Entertainment and more. Future donors can support ECF with a monetary
or in-kind donation, matching a gift, gift and estate planning or become a
scholarship or M.E.N.U.S sponsor. For more information please contact the
Epicurean Charitable Foundation office at 702.932.5098 or visit the ECF website
