Embers
Grille + Spirits, a neighborhood restaurant and gathering spot in Summerlin’s
Boca Park, announces a new menu for spring under the direction of Executive
Chef Aaron Klafter-Phillips.
Chef
Phillips brings years of Strip experience to Summerlin’s growing dining scene
with previous stints at restaurants such as Table 10, Bradley Ogden and Stack
Restaurant & Bar. As a UNLV graduate majoring in restaurant management,
Phillips draws from a skillful education to oversee all facets of the kitchen.
With Phillips at the helm, Embers introduces fresh dishes to accompany the
menu’s signature servings.
The
eatery will feature new offerings across the menu. Updated appetizers consists
of Roasted Garlic Hummus with a side of grilled pita bread, Goat Cheese
Crostinis with roasted fennel and fig and Bacon Wrapped Dates that are stuffed
with a toasted almond and include blue cheese with a pomegranate reduction. The
restuarant will also boast a fresh selection of salads including the Seared Ahi
Tuna Salad, a fresh mix of cherry tomatoes, fingerling potatoes, hard-cooked
eggs, haricot verts and akalamata olive vinaigrette and the Grilled Steak
Salad, made with cherry tomatoes, crispy shallots, roasted garlic vinaigrette
and a blue cheese crostini.
Diners
have a wide array of entrees to choose from as Embers serves up everything from
grilled favorites to burgers and fish. Joining signature items such as BBQBaby
Back Ribs and Embers 10 oz Tri Tip Steak are new options to center the feast
including the Grilled Chimichurri Chicken Breast Burger with butter lettuce,
tomato, red pepper chili aioli on a challah bun and Pan Roasted Free Range
Chicken that includes a Panzanella salad and is served with cherry tomato,
roasted shallot and pumpkin seed pesto. For pasta lovers, Embers introduces new
dishes that include the Cioppino, a combination of mixed seafood and linguine
in a spiced shellfish tomato sauce. Lighter fare includes the B.A.L.T. Wrap
made of smoked bacon, avocado, romaine lettuce, cherry tomato and avocado herb
aioli mayo and a healthy Grilled Miso Salmon, served with jasmine rice, bok
choy, edamame and red pepper.
As
the weather warms, diners will be able to enjoy the spring menu and the
hotspot’s hand crafted cocktails on the extended outdoor patio, which will make
its debut soon.
