Titan,
the company behind Hussong’s Cantina, will open Slice of Vegas this
spring. Slice of Vegas, Titan’s second
Las Vegas restaurant, will debut just a few doors down from Hussong’s Cantina
at The Shoppes at Mandalay Place.
“We
found success with Hussong’s by offering great food and a fun atmosphere at
reasonable prices,” said Titan President Scott Frost. “We hope to bring the same cool vibe and
quality fare with an Italian twist when Slice of Vegas opens in April.”
The
casual spot will serve NY style pizza with a thin, chewy crust, along with
calzones, fresh pastas and unique salads.
Gluten free dough will be available, as well as vegan and vegetarian
options. Passersby can grab and go from
the By The Slice counter, or diners can relax in booths or lounge at the bar,
taking in any of 12 TV screens or the 8 foot HD projection screen. You can use
your iPhone to choose favorite songs on the jukebox and the restaurant will
offer a full bar, imported and domestic wine and an excellent selection of beer
on tap or by the bottle. Following along the lines of Hussong’s, Slice of Vegas
will keep it simple, offering good food in a friendly, approachable atmosphere.
Chef
Noe Alcala will serve as Executive Chef for Titan, overseeing culinary
operations for both restaurants and Tony Cordovana will be GM of Slice of
Vegas. Cordovana, a first generation
Sicilian, brings years of experience managing a family Italian restaurant in
Arizona to his new role with Titan.
