Titanic’s 100th Anniversary
Titanic…The
Artifact Exhibition will commemorate the 100th anniversary of RMS Titanic’s
launch and eventual sinking on Tuesday, April 10 at 11 a.m. through a special
candlelit vigil on the Atrium level of the Luxor Hotel and Casino with 185
fourth and fifth graders from Griffith Elementary School. Renée West, President
and COO of Luxor Hotel and Casino, Alex Klingelhofer, Vice President of
Collections for Premier Exhibitions and RMS Titanic, Inc. and Tom Goldsmith,
descendant of survivor Frank John William Goldsmith will speak about the legacy
of RMS Titanic before partaking in the candlelit vigil and moment of silence to
honor those who suffered or were lost in the sinking.

Pressure Checks at BODIES…The Exhibition
BODIES…The
Exhibition, in partnership with Medical Reserve Corps, is offering free blood
pressure screenings for anyone who purchases a ticket to The Exhibition Sunday,
April 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Guests can choose between a manual or
automatic check performed by a Medical Reserve Nurse. Immediately following the
screening, the nurse reviews the results and provides guests with a monitoring
card for regular check-ups and results tracking.

BODIES… The Exhibition and/or Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition; a $34 value.
Tickets are non-transferable and must be used on Tuesday. For more information

I plan to be at the vigil. I've been following Titanic history for years and years.

Thank you Carole9073! I was there!! I was on vacation, and woke up and walked over to the vigil and watched it. They had a moment of silence, which was nice. I bought a few 100th anniversary collectible items too. I am trying to find pictures of it online now. It was a cool event.
