MMA
fighters took over the stunning Tryst Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas as the venue
treated fight fans to the official UFC 143 After Party hosted by welterweight
champion Georges St-Pierre. St-Pierre is coming off a tough knee surgery but
that did not stop him from wrangling an entourage of 20 to celebrate a
thrilling night of hard-hitting matches. The UFC fighter’s cocktail of choice
consisted of vodka with an extra side of ice, to help soothe the knee in hopes
for a speedy recovery.
As
the night continued, Chuck Liddell, former UFC light heavyweight champion
joined the group to celebrate an evening of adrenaline pumping fights. Liddell arrived with a group of eight but
opted to keep the night low key by sticking to Red Bull energy drinks. Bruce Buffer, the official voice of MMA,
decided to kick the party into full swing, joining the other fighters with a
large group of 30. As the vodka cocktails continued to flow at his exclusive
table, a new champion entered the house. Josh Koscheck, celebrating his
split-decision win over Mike Pierce, was a sight to see as he cruised into the
venue with 15 guests.
While
the UFC fighters kept the crowd hyped up, another table caught the eye of
clubgoers. Angela Simmons, daughter of Russell Simmons, and 12 others
celebrated a friend’s birthday. Donned with
balloons, the excusive table was fully stocked with Grey Goose and Reisling
while the cocktail waitresses made sure the group was known, bringing a
specialty cake for the birthday gal.
To
help the athletes and stars celebrate the evening, DJ A-Trak was on the decks
spinning a collective set of tracks creating the perfect vibe. The resident DJ
had his own honor to celebrate on Saturday as he recently graced the
breakthrough cover of Billboard Magazine’s dance revolution issue along other
notable producers, Skrillex and Diplo.
