Wale |
Project
hosted their official party at Marquee Nightclub on Tuesday night featuring
A-Trak, Wale, Kreayshawn and DJ Vice.
In
the main room, A-Trak kicked the crowd off to hip hop favorites before
announcing that Wale would join his set. A sea of camera phones and glow sticks
filled the air as the rapper and crew took center stage. Thrilled partygoers
were treated to a performance of Wale's most popular songs as well as new music
including, "Chillin'" and "No Hands." Wale had a special
treat for the club and led the audience to a chant, shouting
"A-Trak," "Wale" and "Vegas." After he explained
that it would be used as a sample and the crowd would now be able to say that
they were featured in a song. Wale slowed the pace with his newest single
"Lotus Flower Bomb" in ode to Valentine's Day and the room loved it.
Before continuing the celebration at his VIP table, Wale let club goers know
that this was the loudest crowd he had seen in months and sent a shout out to
the Project Show and the club, stating that it was Marquee and he had to do it
big. Earlier in the night he dined at
TAO to fuel up for the night.
DJ/Musician Kreayshawn |

in the Library were treated to a special DJ set by rapper and musician
Kreayshawn, who got the room going as soon as she started her set with a selection
of high energy hip hop. She was joined by a group of friends and held a packed
room for the length of her set.

Lupe & Sky at LAVO |
Nylon,
the official magazine of Project, presented the launch of Soundclash’s
residency at LAVO. Lupe Fiasco and Sky
Gellatly, DJ partners for Soundclash, first dined at the Italian eatery before
heading upstairs to the nightclub where they took over the DJ booth and
entertained club goers, who all grabbed their camera phones to capture the
night’s events. Their energy and
theatrics thrilled the crowd and a haze machine along with newly added
subwoofers and lighting added to the excitement. Actor Andrew James Allen was spotted taking
