Rob
Kardashian counted down to 2012 looking quite dapper in a black tuxedo and bow
tie. He walked the red carpet before heading into the New Year festivities at
the Wynn Las Vegas hot spot.
Kardashian
quickly moved front and center, taking over the stage for the official
countdown to midnight as DJ Dave Fogg manned the decks. He flew solo, not
sharing the final moment with one special lady but rather 50 young beauties
that all tried to push and pull to get inches closer to him. As he stepped to
the edge of the stage to accommodate photo opps, the crowd went crazy for the
chance to share the moment with their favorite Kardashian.
As the
minutes trickled away, he took over the count from 10 down to the big moment,
wishing everyone a happy New Year as confetti cannons exploded and fireworks
took over the Las Vegas Strip, high above the signature Tryst waterfall.
Revelers cheered and toasted to the occasion while the Tryst staff presented
Rob with an exquisite cake, created by Gimme Some Sugar, that replicated the
Dancing with the Stars trophy and naming him the Tryst Champion of 2012.
With his
famous family scattered across the Las Vegas Strip, Rob shared it was odd to be
so close, yet so far away for the big holiday. He wasn’t without, however, as
he was joined by 20 of his closest friends for his big night, all of whom he
said he has known since junior high and high school.
The
heartthrob dished he is looking forward to starting a clothing line in the new
year, and his resolution is to be healthier, focusing more on what he’s eating
and his workout regimen that was starting on the celebrated dancing competition
series.
