Kiss 2011 Good-Bye and Celebrate Italian-Style at Carla’s New Year’s Eve Bacio Bash!

7:30pm- 10:30pm 4-course Prix Fixe Menu (last seating occurs at 10:30pm)

Raise your glass of bubbly this New Year's Eve at Bacio by Carla Pellegrino, where Executive Chef Carla Pellegrino will host a special New Year’s Eve Bacio Bash. The evening, featuring champagne, surprise DJs, party favors, a special four-course prix fixe menu and viewing of the fireworks, will commence at 7:30pm on Saturday, December 31. An A’ la Carte menu will be available prior to 7:30pm.

“Bacio means 'kiss' in Italian and this New Year's Eve I will kiss 2011 good-bye and celebrate in style with my new friends,” said Carla Pellegrino. “We'll have music, noise makers, delicious food and champagne and watch the fireworks. It'll be a great party.”

The New Year’s Eve Bacio Bash will allow guests to enjoy a delectable four-course Italian menu specially created by Chef Carla while being entertained by surprise DJs and party favors to ring in the New Year. Just prior to midnight, Chef Carla will escort her guests to a private viewing area where they will enjoy Tropicana Las Vegas’ firework display.

La Velluttata di Aragosta (Lobster Bisque)
Insalata di Barbabietola & Caprino (Baby Yellow and Red Beets with Micro Greens, Goat Cheese and a Champagne Vinaigrette)
Insalatina di Mare (Calamari, Shrimp, Lobster, Crab with Gaeta Olives, Celery and Red Bell Peppers in Citronette)

First Course
Le Pappardelle alla Selvaggina (Venison and Wild Boar braised Ragu over fresh Pappardelle noodles)
Rositto di Aragosta (Lobster Risotto with Carnerolli rice)
Caramelle di Pomodoro e Mozzarella al Pesto (Tomato and Mozzarella cheese stuffed Raviolis in Classic Pesto sauce)

Second Course
Puntine Brasate con Scalogno e Puree di Sedano (Braised Short Ribs in Barolo wine, served with Caramelized Shallots, Celery Root and Carrot Puree)
Branzino con Vegetali Grigliantti (Pan seared Sea Bass over grilled Fennel, Eggplant and Zucchini with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Lemon Juice and Garlic Emulsion)
Terrina di Zucchini e Melazzane (Zucchini and Eggplant Terrine with fresh Tomatoes, Buffalo Mozzarella and Parmesan)

Dessert
Torta di Cioccolatto Fondente (Mud Chocolate Cake with Hazelnut sauce)
Flambatto al Limone (Lemon Shortbread with Lemon Cream and Meringue served with Tuilles)
Crème Brulee (Traditional Vanilla Custard with Caramel Crust)
Torta di Melle Caramellate (Warm Puffy Pastry with Caramelized Apples and Cinnamon Gelato).
