Superior Cage Combat at The Orleans Arena this week-end!


Orleans Arena will host Superior Cage Combat (SCC) 3, a mixed martial arts (MMA) event with a fight card stacked with top pro MMA fighters. Elvis Mutapcic suffered a knee injury during training and has withdrawn from the title fight. Jay Silva has stepped up to take on Bristol Marunde in the SCC title fight.

The card, with a total of nine bouts, features UFC, WEC, Strikeforce and M1 vets.

The following local fighters will be competing: John Alessio, Blas Avena, Phil Dace, Cameron Diffley, Shawn Fitzsimmons, Kui Gonsalves, Steve Lopez, Bristol Marunde, Sidney Silva, Dave Terrel and Lance Wipf.
