Legendary and iconic Studio 54 to close at MGM Grand!


MGM Grand Hotel & Casino’s iconic nightclub Studio 54 will close its doors to the public Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012 after a remarkable 14 years on the Las Vegas Strip. The legendary club will host one final unforgettable bash Saturday, Jan. 7 to toast Vegas’ longest-running and most successful nightlife venue.

Studio 54 opened as the first megaclub in Las Vegas and launched the nightlife trend that still reigns today. A favorite among celebrities, Studio 54 pays tribute to its New York City namesake with original memorabilia and an atmosphere unlike any other on The Strip.

Details on an extraordinary new nightlife venue will be announced at a later date.

This nightlife transformation is part of a 360-degree property renovation for MGM Grand which includes enhancements to the guest rooms, casino floor and dining experiences, among others. For more information, visit www.thegrandrenovation.com.

Studio 54 inside MGM Grand is a high-energy nightclub comprised of two levels, four bars, one main dance floor, movable go-go cages and an exclusive VIP lounge.  The venue is covered with notable memorabilia including celebrity/VIP photographs from the original Studio 54 in New York City and the infamous Studio 54 Moon hanging over the dance floor.
