Enjoy the spirit of the holidays! Fun, festive events at The Village Lake Las Vegas!

The Village Lake Las Vegas spreads joy this holiday season with fun and festive events, beginning with the tree lighting ceremony. Get in the holiday spirit at the annual event featuring strolling carolers, Santa and his elves, games, raffles and much more.

Sin City Opera will make a special appearance to perform a contemporary, Holiday concert and guests can enjoy ice skating on the lake’s floating rink and guests can get a move on holiday shopping in The Village’s plethora of unique retail outlets.

The Village will also be collecting toys throughout the holiday season which will be donated to Help of Southern Nevada.

Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011

12 p.m. to 9 p.m. - Ice Skating Rink open*

5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Santa Claus & his elves

5 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. – Las Vegas Ice Center presents a figure skating show

5:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Tree Lighting Ceremony

5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. – Sin City Opera holiday performance of How The Grinch Stole Christmas!

7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – Holiday Concert featuring contemporary holiday songs

5 p.m. to 11 p.m. – The Spirits of Christmas Cocktail Walk- pick up your free Spirits of Christmas Scorecard at Casino MonteLago to begin a delightful journey tasting specialty Holiday Cocktails.

4 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Sin City Opera Holiday performance of Twas the Night Before Christmas, as well as classic holiday songs, Handel’s Messiah Sing-a-Long and other performances

Toy donations will be accepted daily at Casino MonteLago. Bring an unwrapped toy or gift card to the designated drop off areas to support Help of Southern Nevada.

*The Ice Rink season runs from Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 until Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012.

COST:

Enjoyment of the tree lighting ceremony and holiday entertainment is free and open to the public of all ages. Ice Skating is $15 per adult and $12 per child.
