Grammy award winning country
artist LeAnn Rimes is teaming up with Green Valley Ranch and Vegas Country 95.5
KWNR for a special acoustic performance to benefit StandUp For Kids, a national
non-profit charitable organization committed to ending the cycle of youth
homelessness throughout the United States. The concert will take place inside Ovation at Green
Valley Ranch on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 at 7 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or
older.
Tickets are $9.55 with
proceeds benefitting StandUp For Kids. Tickets are on-sale now and can be
purchased at any Station Casinos Reward Center and The Fiestas, by calling 800-745-3000 or logging
onto www.stationcasinos.com/concerts.
StandUp For Kids was founded
in 1990 to help rescue homeless and at-risk youth. Their mission is to empower
teenagers toward lifelong personal growth through on-the-streets outreach
programs. All proceeds from the event will benefit StandUp For Kids. For more
information about StandUp For Kids visit www.standupforkids.org.
At the benefit event, LeAnn
will perform her new song “Give” from her upcoming album Lady & Gentlemen,
in stores Sept. 27. For the song’s video, LeAnn partnered with the organization
and featured several homeless kids from Chicago who have been directly impacted by StandUp For Kids.
The concert is a part of
Clear Channel Radio’s commitment to empowering local youth. In addition, Clear
Channel will collaborate with LeAnn to create a series of national public
service announcements and a special 30 minute radio show discussing the serious
issue of the rising rate of youth homelessness.
