After more than 200 shows and millions of laughs,
iconic comedian Louie Anderson celebrates the first anniversary of his
acclaimed show, Louie LOL, inside the Louie Anderson Theater at Palace Station
in Las Vegas. To celebrate his first anniversary, Anderson will donate 100% of the proceeds from the Friday,
Oct. 14 performance to Three Square food bank. The special
performance begins at 8:30 p.m.
“In celebration of my first
anniversary at the Palace Station, I am proud to say that 100% of the proceeds
from the Oct. 14 performance will be donated to Three Square Food Bank,” said
Louie Anderson. “I am pleased to have the opportunity to help the less
fortunate in Las
Vegas and
certainly don't need a cake.”
“We are truly honored to be
working with someone not only as talented as Louie Anderson, but someone who is
as philanthropic as Station Casinos is,” said Station Casinos’ Vice President
of Entertainment Judy Alberti. “Our first year of Louie LOL has been an
incredible success and we look forward to many more years of laughs with
Louie.”
“We are so fortunate to have
the continued support of celebrities like Louie Anderson, who share our passion
for hunger relief and can help bring this important issue into the lime light,”
said Three Square Food Bank President & Chief Executive Officer Brian Burton. “Three Square and our agency partners are serving food to 100,000
individuals monthly, 40,000 of which are children, and simply couldn’t do it
without the generosity of companies like Station Casinos and Mr. Louie
Anderson.”
Presented by Bonkerz Comedy
Productions, Louie LOL at the Louie Anderson Theater is a family-friendly show
where guests can catch the esteemed headliner in his intimate showroom. A
