Restaurant Week starts today!! Andre's and Alize participate!

For the fifth consecutive year, Andre’s Restaurant & Lounge at Monte Carlo and Alizé at the Top of the Palms will participate in Las Vegas Restaurant Week Aug. 29 through Sept. 11 by offering multi-course, prix-fixe menus to benefit Three Square Food Bank.  A portion of each meal sold during Restaurant Week will be donated to Three Square to help in its fight to end hunger in Southern Nevada.

“We feel privileged to be able to help raise awareness of the problem of hunger through Restaurant Week,” said Andre Rochat, chef and owner, Andre’s and Alizé.  “Our guests can feel good knowing they are not only enjoying a memorable meal at a great value, but also a portion of their cost is going directly to this worthy cause.”

At Andre’s, guests opting for the Restaurant Week menu will enjoy five courses, beginning with an amuse-bouche of Chilled Consommé of Spring Chicken with fresh turmeric followed by Heirloom Tomato Salad with burrata cheese, caviar, melon and spring garlic vinaigrette and Globe Artichoke Soup with summer truffle mousse and orange oil.  For the main course, guests can select one of four offerings: Grilled Ribeye Cap with Anna potato, long bean and natural jus; Berkshire Pork Duo with herb spaetzle, spring onion and truffle jus; Scottish Salmon with jasmine rice, shrimp yellow curry and lemon grass glaze; or Free-range Chicken with sweet corn and poblano ragoût with foie gras mole.  Concluding the dinner will be a dessert of Grilled White Peach served with almond milk sorbet and vanilla bean jus.

Alizé offers a three-course menu for Restaurant Week, starting with a choice of first course: chilled potato and leek vichyssoise with summer truffles, chives and orange zest; Angus beef carpaccio with watercress and parmesan cheese, basil pesto and toasted baguette; or marinated heirloom tomato salad with cantaloupe, mozzarella cheese and balsamic vinegar.  Guests will choose from three main courses: sautéed Irish salmon with truffled potato puree, jumbo green asparagus and Béarnaise sauce; braised beef short rib with gruyère potato mousseline, sautéed spinach, braised shallots and pinot noir sauce; or pan-seared chicken roulade with apricots and pistachio, roasted Idaho potato galette, haricots verts, toasted almonds and truffle jus. Capping the meal will be one of two dessert selections: Champagne poached nectarine with a lemon cream and blueberry sorbet or Andre’s apple tarte tatin with pignoli Florentine and Calvados ice cream.

The price per person for both dinners is $50.11.  For more information or to make reservations at Andre’s, please call (702) 798-7151.  For information or to make reservations at Alizé, call (702) 951-7000.
