Big Al’s Comedy Club at The
Orleans Hotel and Casino continues to bring the laughs with Kato Kaelin and The
Hollywood Guest Stars – now through July 30, followed by The Queen of Tarts in
August.
Kato Kaelin and The Hollywood Guest Stars – July 7-30
America’s most well known houseguest, Kato Kaelin, hits the
stage and hosts several evenings of comedy with The Hollywood Guest Stars –
Jeff Richards and The Greg Wilson. Infamous for his role in one of the most
popular murder trials in the world, Kaelin has made a name for himself on the
comedy circuit and is not shy with the O.J. jokes.
Jeff Richards remains the
only comedian to squander opportunities on both “Saturday Night Live” and
“MADtv”. He’s since guest starred on shows such as “Til Death,” “Flash Forward”
and “Mind of Mencia.”
The Greg Wilson jumped off
the VH1 commentary bandwagon before it made him a star, followed by the
box-office mega-flop, “The Hottie and the Nottie" with Paris Hilton. He
has since guest starred on successful shows such as “Modern Family,” “Bones”
and “Ugly Betty.”
The Queens
of Tart – August 4-28
Host of The Queens of Tart, Anna Lane, is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, began
entertaining at the tender age of six, by telling jokes to her stuffed animals.
She now performs in comedy clubs throughout the U.S. and has appeared on television and in film.
Jody Ferdig is no stranger to
comedy; she worked her way through the Houston outlaw comedy circuit before tackling Hollywood. This bawdy redhead has opened up for comedy legends
including Rodney Dangerfield, Dave Chappelle, Ron White, George Lopez, Margaret
Cho, Mitch Hedberg, and Ralphie May. She co-starred in the award-winning
documentary “Red, White and Bitch” about life as a female comic, performed on
SITV’s “Funny is Funny,” and has been featured on “My Life on the D-List” with
Kathy Griffin.
Lang Parker moved to Los Angeles from Wisconsin to pursue a career telling jokes about her
dysfunctional upbringing on a Muskego dairy farm. Lang came to national attention on the
Emmy-nominated NBC show “Last Comic Standing,” where she impressed judge Buddy
Hackett with her tomboy persona and comedic timing. Lang has appeared in over
two-dozen national commercials and was crowned California’s Funniest Female in 2008.
