recording artist Bruno Mars and Wondaland Arts Society/Bad Boy/Atlantic
recording artist Janelle Monáe
co-headlined at the Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort, as part of their joint
North American tour, “Hooligans in Wondaland”.
The two music sensations
performed to a sold-out crowd in the Pearl Concert Theater both delivering
unforgettable performances.
“Grenade,” Mars’ second
consecutive number one hit single following “Just The Way You Are,” remains a
worldwide smash hit, currently number one on Billboard’s “Pop Songs” chart as
well as number two on the overall “Hot 100.”
Monáe is one of the most
celebrated new artists, apparent by a pair of impressive Grammy Awards
nominations. Her acclaimed single,
“Tightrope (featuring Big Boi),” was named in the “Best Urban/Alternative
Performance” category, while her genre-bending debut album, THE ARCHANDROID
received a nod as “Best Contemporary R&B Album.”
