What would "Ladies Night Out' be without Chippendales? FUN for a great Cause in Vegas!

“ANNUAL LADIES NIGHT” BENEFIT FOR SUSAN G. KOMEN

On June 1st Wednesday from 6 PM – 8 PM the annual “Ladies Night Out” at MJ Christensen Diamonds will benefit Susan G. Komen and takes place at the Boca Park location on 8980 W Charleston Blvd.  This event will have several of the neighboring businesses involved including the newest restaurant Hotel California who offers delicious authentic California Baja cuisine. For your sweet tooth CupKates of Las Vegas will have their delectable confections on hand to sample.  Take a moment to relax and enjoy complimentary seated massages by Massage Envy at Boca Park.  All of these local businesses have become involved and support the renowned organization Susan G. Komen For The Cure, which is entirely devoted to raising the awareness and fighting breast cancer.

Miss Teen California United States 2011 Gabrielle Boyadjian will be on hand to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans! Originally from Las Vegas “Gabbie” was also Miss America’s Outstanding Teen.

The Susan G. Komen For The Cure organization was started by Nancy G. Brinker who as her sister Susan was diagnosed and fought the disease, she made a promise that she would do everything possible to end the shame, pain, fear and sheer hopelessness that women had endured from this devastating disease. The organization was founded in 1982 and from the beginning faced an uphill battle. Newspapers and virtually any type of media had reservations of printing any type of material that had the words “breast cancer” attached.  However with perseverance; the tide has turned and many strides have been taken nationally and locally to help find a cure.  Nancy has received numerous national awards and continues her work with the organization.

MJ’s Cliff and Darlene Miller have designed and graciously donated a spectacular Diamond and Pink Sapphire Pendant valued at $3,000! This pendant will be won by a breast cancer survivor at the event!

“Ladies Night Out” is a special celebration for the women who have survived the ordeal of fighting breast cancer and for those that continue to fight. There will be several raffle prizes to win! Among these are spa packages, dinners, and more! Out of the money raised 75% STAYS in Las Vegas to aid those who otherwise might not be able to afford the medical attention they need. Additionally 25% of the monies raised are donated to fund national research for a cure.

This event has been embraced and enjoyed by countless ladies during the years and as it continues to grow, MJ Christensen Diamond s will continue the work of supporting not only Susan G. Komen For The Cure but also several local charitable organizations! So round up your friends and come by for a wonderful evening of entertainment, food and Kahunaville Rum drinks. PLUS you never know who might show up, such as the world famous handsome Chippendale dancers!
