Deryck Whibley had a belated birthday celebration at TAO on Thursday. The Sum 41 rocker, who turned 31 late last month, brought a few guy friends along for the party. They started the night with dinner at TAO Asian Bistro, sipping sake and enjoying Sushi, Sea Bass and Snapper before heading up to the club’s Worship Thursday party. Upstairs they took over a dance floor table stocked with Jack Daniels and Grey Goose. Whibley was surprised by a cake from Gimme Some Sugar in the shape of a guitar, which had him smiling and toasting with shots as it was delivered. The group enjoyed the sounds of DJ Five as girls nervously approached his table to say hello and ask for photos.
