SpeedwayChannel.com to broadcast Duel in the Desert on pay-per-view Internet TV
Nov. 11-13 from the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
The 13th annual Duel in the Desert – the biggest dirt track race in the west – will be available live on pay-per-view Internet TV this year. The Nov. 11-13 IMCA Modified event already has 190 cars pre-entered and fans around the globe may watch the thrilling dirt racing action at www.SpeedwayChannel.com. Viewers also may download the event in its entirety or in selected segments following the broadcast, anchored by award-winning announcers Toby Kruse and Chet Christner.
The Nov. 20-21 Street Car Supernationals at The Strip at LVMS and the ASCS Sprint Car Supernationals at the Dirt Track (Nov. 26-27) also will be available live on www.SpeedwayChannel.com.
Saturday’s Duel in the Desert A-Feature pays $7,777 to win and the pre-entry list has reached 200 cars, with drivers coming to Las Vegas from as far away as New York (state champion Randy Hall) and Hawaii (Jeremy Moniz). Fifty entries have been filed by California drivers and 13 hometown heroes will defend their Nevada turf against perennial favorite and 2004 and 2009 winner John ny “The Jet” Saathoff from Beatrice , Nebraska .
