Nearly $2k raised by the 9 Group for burn victim Jorge Hernandez!

Nearly $2,000 raised, which will assist Hernandez with medical expenses

9 Group hosted a fundraiser for Las Vegas burn victim, Jorge Hernandez at Palms Pool & Bungalows inside Palms Casino Resort Monday afternoon (9.13.10), offering discounted cabanas for sale and donating all proceeds to Hernandez.  As a result of the fundraiser, 9 Group raised approximately $1,250 and also collected nearly $700 in cash from guests.  Hernandez was seen hanging out poolside for a short while and enjoyed the atmosphere and time with friends in the shade.  DJ Stellar and DJ SHR3D (who attended high school with Hernandez) volunteered their time and talent by spinning their beats on the turntables.

Hernandez, 26, had 80 percent of his body burned in a car explosion in 2009 and lost both legs due to infection. He recently was able to return home after spending more than a year in the hospital without the aid of medical insurance to help pay costs. For more on 9 Group events, visit www.n9negroup.com.
