Long Time Las Vegas Performer Jay White Recreates Neil Diamond at the Suncoast Showroom July 31-August 1
Known throughout the world as a premier Neil Diamond tribute artist, Las Vegan Jay White performs as Diamond at the Suncoast Showroom, July 31 and August 1, each evening at 7:30 p.m.
Performing as the “Sweet Caroline” singer since his first professional gig at Mr. F’s Supper Club in Michigan in 1982, Jay White’s physical and vocal embodiment of Diamond landed him a nearly nine year stint in Legends in Concert at the Imperial Palace Las Vegas. White followed with an eight year run, 2,000 shows, at the Riviera Hotel and Casino Las Vegas performing in a solo show as Diamond.
White has appeared in many theaters, casinos and hotels throughout the world. He has performed for President and Nancy Regan, sung the National Anthem at dozens of professional sporting events and appeared on a bill with Bob Hope for the American Legion.
In addition to music and performing, White is an accomplished hockey player. As a goaltender at age 21 he played in a couple of semi-professional games in the IHL and in his 30’s, he was a practice goalie for the IHL’s Las Vegas Thunder team.
