Control and vote on the music you want to hear! Jelli and X107.5 are bringing it on!

Las Vegas music fans are in control of the songs being played on X107.5’s “Resistance Radio,” a new program to be broadcast Monday through Saturday nights from 9:00PM-Midnight beginning on Monday, July 12.

Using Jelli, a web-based game, listeners can search a catalog of songs and vote moment-by-moment for which ones they want to hear and also vote down the songs they want deleted from the playlist, even mid-song. Players can quickly propel a song to the top of a playlist or knock it off completely. All the songs are chosen instantly by the online community – the next song to be played is selected only seconds before it goes on the air.

X107.5 listeners can play “Resistance Radio” by visiting www.x1075lasvegas.com.

KXTE is among the first stations in the country to pioneer crowdsourced music programming. Currently, stations in San Francisco , Boston , Philadelphia , Fort Myers , Fla. , and New York are among those featuring Jelli-driven programming.

Jelli players accumulate “Rockets” and “Bombs,” which they can use to help move a song up or down X107.5’s playlist. They can also vote on a song while it is playing on the air. Enough “Rocks” votes keep the song in play. Too many “Sucks” votes results in the song being taken off the air mid-song. X107.5’s Jelli players can also chat with other listeners online, keep a list of their favorite songs, and easily connect their accounts to Facebook to let their friends know they’re listening and shaping the playlist.
