The Cannery Casino & Hotel will present Mother’s Day dining specials at Waverly’s Steakhouse, Vino’s Ristorante and Cannery Row Buffet on Sunday, May 9. Featuring a cold seafood display, Waverly’s Steakhouse will also include Chef Jarod’s specialty entrées. Guests can dine on a roasted half chicken marinated with a combination of herbs and spices atop a creamy pea risotto with fried sweet potatoes or spicy Creole shrimp sautéed with butter topped with white cheddar and parmesan cheese grits. Vino’s Ristorante will serve a special dinner for $21.99. Served with Vino’s house salad and bread basket, the appetizer is seafood stuffed mushrooms with lobster, shrimp, fresh herbs and Boursin cheese. Guests will enjoy chicken cannelloni fresh pasta rolled with roasted chicken and spinach baked in a rich truffle cream sauce paired with a refreshing glass of chardonnay. Finish the meal with a zeppoli, a classic ricotta fritter served with powdered sugar and an espresso crème anglaise. Cannery Row Buffet will provide a Mother’s Day buffet from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. for $14.99 for adults and $10.99 for children. Guests will be treated to complete Mexican, Italian, Chinese and BBQ stations, as well as full salad and dessert stations. Breakfast choices consist of apple crepes, waffles, French toast, cheese blintz and omelets made to order.
