Line-Up Includes Popular Christian Rock Acts MercyMe, David Crowder*Band, Family Force 5, Francesca Battistelli, Fee, Remedy Drive and Sidewalk Prophets
Orleans Arena will host the 2nd Annual Rock and Worship Road Show for a one-night-only concert event on Sunday, April 11 at 6 p.m. The diverse line up includes Grammy® nominee and multi-platinum band MercyMe, multiple GMA Dove award winner David Crowder*Band and Christian dance group Family Force Five, as well as performances by Francesca Battistelli, Fee, Remedy Drive and Sidewalk Prophets.
“We are so excited to be back for this tour with such an incredible group of artists,” said MercyMe’s Bart Millard. “We are going to have a great time.”
Multiple award-winning group MercyMe leads the Rock and Worship Road Show for the second year. Along with being a mainstay on the Contemporary Christian charts, the band has had crossover success with their latest album All That Is Within Me, which debuted on the Billboard Top 200 Chart at No. 15. Popular on the Christian tour circuit, the David Crowder*Band is the first Christian artist to be named MSN.com’s Artist of the Year. Bringing groove and funk to the Rock and Worship Road Show is Family Force Five, who are currently writing new material for their third album. Chart-topper Francesca Battistelli is set to perform her hit songs, while GMA Dove nominated group Fee also brings their talents to the tour. Rounding out the lineup are Christian music’s fastest rising new bands Remedy Drive and Sidewalk Prophets.
The Rock and Worship Road Show is a music event designed for fans of all ages, especially families. In addition to bringing a night of exciting performances, the tour is also dedicated to a bigger purpose: helping kids with juvenile diabetes via “Imagine A Cure,” a non-profit organization supporting research into this disease and providing assistance to those with medical needs around the world through Compassion International.
Tickets are available at the door only and are $10. For further information call 702.284.7777, or visit www.orleansarena.com.
