The Cat's Meow starring Felix Da Housecat at Jet

This event will take place 4 to 6 times a year in the main room of JET. Thematically the event will be based around turn of the century "Coney Island". The ad will consist of an amusement park titled "The Cat's Meow" with Felix da Housecat. For the event JET will be treated as a carnival with a circus barker out front dressed in black pants, red and white stripped jacket with a straw hat. He will be positioned at the entrance of the club standing on a soapbox with a cane and megaphone, egging guests to enter the venue... "Come one come all!" As guests enter the venue they will enter a hallway of mirrors leading them into the "Big Tent" Each table will be dressed with a large bouquet of balloons. A character dressed as a clown will go from table to table blowing up balloon animals for guests. At 1 am Felix will begin his DJ set, the entire venue will go dark and all of the sound will drop out. On the plasma screens a custom video will begin to play a vintage Felix the Cat cartoon. As the video plays on it will introduce Felix da Housecat and he will begin his set. Opening set by Digital Boy. Monday, March 22, 2010 at 10:15pm
