Boyd Gaming “Spin Your Way” Slot Tournament Culminates in Las Vegas–
LAS VEGAS – December 7, 2009 –The reels aligned for Main Street
Station regular Janet Rogalski December 5 at The Orleans Hotel and
Casino, as she bested 148 players from across the country to capture a
$100,000 grand prize in Boyd Gaming’s inaugural “Spin Your Way To
$100,000” Slot Tournament.
B Connected and Club Coast members from across the country
participated in qualifying events this summer, all with their eye on a
prize and a trip to Las Vegas. After thousands of players at 13
participating properties finished multiple rounds at their home
property, 149 players convened in Las Vegas at The Orleans Hotel and
Casino December 3-5 for the finals.
Participants competed in two days of play December 4 and 5 – with two
15 minute sessions each day, all with a shot at one of 25 top cash
prizes ranging from $1,000 to $100,000 and a total prize pool of
$250,000.
Second Place and $50,000 went to Paul Niemela, Suncoast player, while
Third Place went to Alice James from The Orleans, who took home
$25,000. Iralene Richardson, Sam’s Town Shreveport player and Billie
DeWailly, Sam’s Town Tunica player took home $15,000 and $10,000
respectively, rounding out the top five cash winners.
