The Man in Black and his Lady! A tribute to Johnny Cash and June Carter - TOMORROW!

A Tribute to the Life and Legend of Johnny Cash and June Carter comes to Jerry’s Nugget for a special one night engagement American music icons, Johnny Cash and June Carter, left an indelible mark on American society with their passing. In honor of this legendary duo, Jerry’s Nugget Casino is presenting A Tribute to the Life and Legend of Johnny Cash on Sunday, Sept. 27 with shows at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The 90-minute show features Jimmie Ray & the Ring of Fire starring Jimmie Ray as Johnny Cash and Cyndi Cantrell as June Carter. Something magical happens when the first notes of “Folsom Prison Blues” are heard and Ray begins, “I hear the train a comin’....” The same emotion is felt as Cantrell delivers a heart-rending version of Carter singing, “Help Me Make it Through the Night.” Together, they kick in to the always crowd pleasing “ Jackson .” The show is a musical journey from Cash’s days in the Arkansas cotton fields through the very last song he wrote and recorded, “Like the 309.”

A Tribute to the Life and Legend of Johnny Cash and June Carter will be a special one-night performance with shows at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. inside the Royal Street Theater. Guests must be 21 years and older to attend and the cover is $10 with a two-drink minimum. Entry is first come, first served and based on venue capacity.
