More Performers Than Ever Before Take the DWTS Stage for the Oscar-Nominated “Circle of Life”
Appearance Celebrates The Lion King Passing 50 Million In Worldwide Attendance
On the first “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show” of Season 9, the Las Vegas cast of Disney’s Tony® Award-winning The Lion King will perform the spectacular “Circle of Life,” the Oscar-nominated song that opens the show, in a stunning parade of costumes, animal puppetry and the most performers to ever take to the “Dancing with the Stars” stage. The show will air WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. The appearance coincides with The Lion King recently passing the 50 million mark in worldwide attendance.
Hosted by Tom Bergeron (“America’s Funniest Home Videos”) and Samantha Harris (“The Insider”) the celebrities will perform choreographed dance routines, which will be judged by renowned Ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
Tickets for Disney’s THE LION KING at Mandalay Bay are available for $53, $86 and $113.50. VIP packages, which include premium seating, a complimentary souvenir program and a complimentary VIP show merchandise item, are available for $168.50. Taxes are included in all prices.
