Gallagher is one of the country’s most predominant prop comics, particularly for his massacre of watermelons during his legendary Sledge-O-Matic scene. His fame thrived throughout the ’80s which included seven comedy specials on the Showtime network between 1981 and 1987 that repeated several times and eventually ran on Comedy Central. Famed props beyond the watermelon and mallet include cottage cheese, peanut butter, sausage and bananas, a trampoline couch and an adult-sized Big Wheel, among other items.

Todd Rundgren is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer who gained fame in the ’70s as a power pop turned progressive rock artist. Solo hits of Rundgren’s include “We Gotta Get You a Woman,” “I Saw the Light” and “Hello It’s Me.” In 1974, Rundgren spearheaded and served as frontman for Utopia, a progressive rock band with a large ensemble including synthesizers, multiple keyboards and brass. Utopia produced hits such as “Set Me Free” and “The Very Last Time.” In 2005, Rundgren joined Boston-based band The Cars as lead singer for The New Cars.
