Habitat For Humanity & Wynn Las Vegas Team Up For Project

In celebration of Make a Difference Day, more than 100 Wynn Las Vegas employees and Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas volunteers will come together to help transform Henderson’s Pittman region by completing “A Brush With Kindness” (ABWK) projects for homes in need, and  a local community church. This is being done to support the ABWK campaign, which serves low-income homeowners who struggle to maintain the exterior of their homes, Wynn Las Vegas has generously donated $50,000 to fund the project. In addition, Wynn employees will be on hand to help paint, landscape and provide cleanup to three selected homes, in addition to painting the Community Baptist Church.

For more than 24 years, Habitat Las Vegas has committed to strengthening the communities in which we live. Habitat Las Vegas offers painting, landscaping, cleanup and minor repairs for homeowners in need. The organization provides a critical piece of the puzzle in the fight against poverty housing in Southern Nevada. Habitat’s “A Brush With Kindness” campaign has been initiated as part of the local community neighborhood revitalization efforts to eliminate blight. ABWK helps low-income homeowners impacted by age, disability and family circumstances, who otherwise would not have been able to afford the cost of repairs on their home.
