Beer Festival Coming To Vegas In April!

Great Vegas Festival of Beer returns this spring with Nevada’s largest craft beer festival to date, for the first time expanding to two days on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8, with more than 10,000 attendees expected throughout both days. Produced by Motley Brews and set to the backdrop of Downtown Las Vegas, the seventh annual Great Vegas will offer tastings of more than 500 craft beers from 110 breweries.

“Great Vegas Festival of Beer was founded to enhance the beer drinking experience,” said Brian Chapin, founder and CEO of Motley Brews. “This year we’re taking that premise to a new level through the addition of a Friday night event, the Mad Craft Experience, that is basically a science fair for beer lovers. Both days will go beyond samplings to explore new types of experimentation with beer.” Chapin demonstrated Las Vegas’ thirst for craft beer with the inaugural Great Vegas Festival of Beer in 2011, which quickly sold out to more than 2,000 attendees. The event has grown from year to year, prompting an expansion to two days in 2017.

The new Mad Craft Experience will be held from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, April 7. The food and beer-inclusive event will host various experimentations with beer pairing top chefs and brewers, as well as rare pours and special guests. The Great Vegas Grand Tasting will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, with early entry at 2 p.m. Throughout both days, Great Vegas will offer beer-infused and inspired cuisine by some of Las Vegas’ top chefs, life-sized pub games and interactive entertainment.

Tickets for the Mad Craft Experience start at $70 plus fees.  Tickets start at $40 plus fees for Saturday’s Grand Tasting, providing access to the festival from 3 to 7 p.m. along with a tasting glass, unlimited beer samples and entertainment options including a silent disco, BrewLogic seminars and more. Early admission tickets are also available, providing entry at 2 p.m., priced at $50 plus fees.  VIP tickets to the Grand Tasting, Great Vegas’ most coveted credential, are priced at $85 plus a service fee, and include early entry at 2 p.m., access to the VIP Brewers Lounge, which includes a rotating tap of limited release and rare beers, a decadent spread of top-notch cuisine prepared by celebrated Las Vegas chefs, a lounge area and more. Ginuwine, Ying Yang Twins And Warren G Rang In #NYE2017 At LAX Nightclub

New Year's Eve takeover! Ginuwine, Ying Yang Twins and Warren G kicked off 2017 for an ultimate New Year's Eve bash at LAX Nightclub inside Luxor Hotel and Casino Thursday, Dec. 31, 2016. Guests packed the dance floor and celebrated with festive hats and noisemakers.

The party began with a mix of sounds from DJ Encore and a live performance from a set of drummers. Warren G launched the New Year's celebration with west coast favorites including "Regulate." The legendary rapper took a moment to recognize the late rap sensation Nate Dogg and kept the party going up until the countdown. Guests toasted to the New Year while balloons and confetti rained from the ceiling.

Ginuwine turned it up a notch with his rendition of "Same Ol' G," "In Those Jeans" and "Pony." Guests were brought to their feet when Ginuwine interacted with the crowd, giving fans an opportunity to sing along into the microphone.

Ying Yang Twins kept the party going after midnight with a lively performance that included chart topping hits such as "Shake" and "Get Low" bringing upbeat sounds to the dance floor and into 2017. To end the night guests were surprised with a visit from Layzie Bone of the famed rap group, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

Ginuwine skyrocketed to the top of the Billboard US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart with the release of his iconic single, "Pony." Among other top hits are "So Anxious," "Same Ol' G," and "Differences." The sensual crooner has collaborated with other industry-leading artists including Nas, Missy Elliot, R Kelly, Snoop Dogg, and Method Man.

Dirty South hip hop duo Ying Yang Twins topped charts in 2000 with the release of the popular single "Whistle While You Twurk." Fan favorites include, "Wait (The Whisper Song), and are especially known for the hit single, "Shake". They released their debut album, "Thug Walkin' "in 2000.

Warren G became a Southern California rap icon with the release of his debut album, "Regulate...G Funk Era" and its eponymous lead single, "Regulate." The song was included on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop and on Pitchfork Media's Top 200 Tracks of the '90s.

Tuesday, Jan. 3 American entrepreneur and investor Mark Cuban was spotted at OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace. In town for CES, the "Shark Tank" star arrived to the nightspot around 1:00 a.m. with a small group of friends. Cuban looked handsome and relaxed as he sipped on cocktails and mingled with his friends at a VIP table inside the Main Club before leaving around 4:00 a.m.

Also spotted at the nightlife destination, Entourage star Adrian Grenier was seen enjoying a night out in Vegas with friends. Arriving around midnight and there to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday, the actor was seen in high spirits all night long as he sipped on cocktails and enjoyed time with friends.

#CES2017 & Las Vegas Monorail Team Up For Convention Transportation

For the first time, the Las Vegas Monorail is partnering with technology innovator NXP® Semiconductors to offer attendees of CES, being held in Las Vegas January 5-8, 2017, the ability to use their registration badges as their Monorail ticket. This brand-new, convenient option was made available to CES attendees who purchased Monorail tickets online using a customized link provided to them by tradeshow management.  Throughout the show, attendees can also add a Monorail ticket to their badge through the NXP AppXplorer mobile application from the Google Play store, or by visiting the NXP tent at the Las Vegas Convention Center. T-Pain Bites Into Dinner At N9NE Steakhouse

On Jan. 3, two-time Grammy Award-winning rapper T-Pain grabbed dinner at N9NE Steakhouse in Palms Casino Resort with his wife, Amber. The couple indulged in a few of N9NE’s signature dishes including lobster bisque, bone-in filet and lobster mac and cheese while sipping on blackberry sage Manhattans. After the meal, Executive Chef Barry Dakake gave T-Pain an exclusive back-of-house tour of the kitchen where he signed Chef’s famous celebrity shakedown door and the two snapped a photo together.

Best known for his chart topping hits “I’m Sprung,” “Buy You a Drank,” and “I’m ‘n Luv,” T-Pain has been featured on over 50 chart-dominating hits that earned him two Grammy Awards. Jake "The Snake" Roberts Out & About In Vegas! Where?

On Wednesday, Jan. 4, legendary professional wrestler Jake “The Snake” Roberts, also known as Aurelian Smith Jr., was spotted attending the hit show ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace. The WWE Hall of Famer was seen taking in ABSINTHE’s outlandish acts and hilarious antics during the 8 p.m. performance. Following the show, The Snake and his family went backstage for photos with The Gazillionaire, his raucous assistant Wendy Widdels and the “Green Fairy,” Melody Sweets, and to share their enjoyment of the performance.

Illuminated Chinese Dragon Display
A legendary creature in Chinese mythology and folklore, the dragon is a traditional symbol of power, strength, and good luck. The Forum Shops at Caesars is once again sharing this fabled creature in a big way by welcoming a 22-ft. long, 6-ft. wide and 12-ft. high dragon to the world-renowned retail destination. Perfectly situated on the Fortuna Terrace near the entrance to The Forum Shops from Caesars Palace casino, the massive 950-lb steel-framed dragon is covered in 30,000 red and amber LED lights, many of which flicker, giving the mythical beast a vibrant look and dynamic feel. The impressive display was custom created exclusively for The Forum Shops and will be on display throughout the Chinese New Year season.

21st Annual Meadows School Parade – Monday, Jan. 30
For the 21st consecutive year, The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace will welcome students from the Meadows School, who will perform the traditional dragon parade throughout The Forum Shops at Caesars on Monday, Jan 30 beginning at 10 a.m. The cast of singers and dancers includes 120 Meadows students – 60 from kindergarten and 60 from fifth grade plus the school’s very special guest, founder and Mayor of Las Vegas Carolyn Goodman.

Pop superstar Rick Astley is returning to Las Vegas for a special performance at the Pearl Concert Theater inside Palms Casino Resort on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $29 plus tax and applicable fees.

With his rich, deep voice, Rick Astley became an overnight sensation in the late 1980s, with his well-crafted dance-pop.
