Special guest DJ Bob Sinclar played to an energetic crowd at the property’s recently opened Vanity nightclub. Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. soaked in Sinclar’s set from one of Vanity’s 50 intimate VIP booths. After leaving the club, Mayweather, along with hip hop singer Ray J and other friends, headed over to Mr. Lucky’s 24/7 where he enjoyed a bowl of chicken noodle soup.

On Friday night, Vegas-based Imagine Dragons started off the New Year with a bang playing alongside 100 Monkeys at the Beauty Bar downtown. 100 Monkeys is the band of Twilight start Jackson Rathbone who has been frequenting Las Vegas lately and used the city as the launch for his band’s tour.

Good Morning Pawpals!!!
Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie helped Las Vegas ring in 2010 at TAO and LAVO at the Venetian and Palazzo Hotels. Aguilera arrived at the red carpet looking stunning in a Moschino dress with jewels by Stephen Webster and chatted about how excited she is for the New Year with her album dropping in March and her movie Burlesque premiering in November. Aguilera, who was joined by husband Jordan Bratman, her sister Rachel and all of her dancers, raved about the gorgeous penthouse suite at The Venetian where they were staying, “'The Venetian is amazing and we've had an awesome time,” she shared. The group dined in TAO’s private dining room before heading upstairs to a sky box in the nightclub. The pop star was so excited to lead the packed club in the countdown to 2010 that she took to the stage a few minutes early much to delight of the crowd. After pronouncing "Happy New Year" she left the stage and gave her husband a special kiss before heading back to the skybox to enjoy the rest of the evening.

Good Morning Paw Pals!
Happy New Year..long live 2010 and good-bye 2009. It was a pretty good year for me as my first year goes for a Canine Correspondent. There were several fun fulfilling events and good times. Attending Pride was great and marching with the Rio/Harrah's group was amazing!
High on our list also were the interviews that I had with the valley's fave felines Itchy & Scratchy - the latest was done in December. We just made a really important contact on Wednesday night so look for me to be involved with a printed magazine in 2010!
XOXO
