Edgewater Casino Resort’s E Center, located at 2020 S. Casino Drive, will host entertainment icon Tanya Tucker for a performance at the E Center, one of Laughlin’s premier live entertainment and special event venues. The two-time GRAMMY® Award-winner and “first female country outlaw” is scheduled to take the stage at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4.

Arizona Charlie’s, located at 740 S. Decatur Blvd., will bring live entertainment back to the Naughty Ladies Saloon stage with a performance by popular Eagles tribute band, American Eagle USA, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7.
American Eagle USA will pay tribute to the award-winning rock band by playing every classic song including “Take it Easy,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” “One of These Nights,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” “Hotel California,” and more. The cover band features musicians who have played alongside artists including John Paul Jones of Led Zepplin, The WHO, The Righteous Brothers and others.

On Monday, July 26, the Resorts World Las Vegas luxury destination will welcome guests to experience the Fred Segal Market powered by Just Walk Out technology. The Fred Segal Market will offer a special assortment of drinks, candy, snacks, souvenirs, and Grab & Go food items in a location adjacent to and connected with the Fred Segal Men’s shop.

The renovations are complete, the menu is finalized and the pizzas are flying – make that levitating – out the door as Criss Angel’s Cablp is now open for business in Overton, 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.
“This has been an incredible experience creating Cablp with my partners and entire team,” said Angel. “Building a restaurant is a lot like building a show – you grind over every detail and in the end, you hope you’ve created something that will blow away the expectations of every guest that walks in the door.”
The former Sugars Home Plate restaurant has been transformed into Angel’s vison – Cablp, Criss Angel’s Breakfast, Lunch & Pizza. Featuring a sit-down option, walkup window and to-go service from your car with the highest quality foods, desserts and spirits. Angel and his executive chef, Amy Coram Reynolds, and his partners, pizzamaker Mike Baram and brother Costa Sarantakos, have created a menu featuring fresh ingredients with a something-for-everyone approach.
“Before we were a magic family, we were a restaurant family,” said Angel. “My dad owned restaurants in New York for years. This in many ways is celebrating his memory and our lives during that time.”
The genesis for Cablp was inspired by family dirt bike outings in the desert around the Moapa Valley.
“My family and I fell in love with the area when we took our son, Johnny Crisstopher, dirt biking nearby,” said Angel. “The more time we spent there, the more we got to know the town and the amazing people. When the opportunity came to invest in the community with this restaurant, we jumped at it.”
Cablp brings more than just Angel’s reputation for flair and daring, but his philanthropic spirit as well. Cablp offers a “Free Meal Outreach” program benefiting underprivileged and pediatric cancer families. Cablp is also a part of the “Earn & Learn” youth job program.
Criss and partner Shaunyl Sarantakos’ son, seven-year-old Johnny Crisstopher, has been battling Leukemia for more than five years. The Johnny Crisstopher Children’s Charitable Foundation, a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization established in 2008, has donated over 50,000 meals to the community during the Covid-19 pandemic in addition to millions of dollars throughout the years to Cure 4 the Kids of Nevada, Make-A-Wish of Southern Nevada and St. Baldricks Foundation of Northern Nevada.

Turner’s career spans the screens and the stage, as a singer, songwriter, musician, dancer and actor.
A renowned Las Vegas performer, Turner has appeared at numerous resorts and showrooms across the U.S. His accolades include being honored as Male Vocalist of the Year by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and being named one of New Orleans Magazine’s People to Watch in 2005. A longtime Las Vegas icon for live music and craft cocktails, The Sand Dollar Lounge will open a second location inside the Plaza Hotel & Casino this fall, bringing to downtown Las Vegas a venue dedicated to late-night live music and entertainment.
In 1976, the Sand Dollar Blues Bar opened its doors, and almost instantly became one of Las Vegas’ most iconic bars. Some of the greatest blues legends, as well as many other famous musicians, graced its stage for more than 30 years. People like Muddy Waters, B.B. King, and even Mick Jagger would swing into the Sand Dollar when they were in Las Vegas. In 2007, the Sand Dollar Blues Bar closed its doors, but it was resurrected in 2009, when The Sand Dollar Lounge opened on Spring Mountain Road honoring the tradition and history of the iconic Vegas venue. In 2015, the Sand Dollar Lounge was taken over by the current owners Nathan Grates and Anthony Jamison with an eye on bringing back and building on its original luster.
Now the iconic venue will open The Sand Dollar Downtown, a second location in a similarly iconic Vegas destination, the Plaza Hotel & Casino, which dates to the Rat Pack era as well and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
The Sand Dollar Downtown will be in a nearly 5,000 sq. ft. space adjacent to the Plaza’s casino floor. It plans to offer its full menu of craft cocktails with pizzas made by Pop Up Pizza at the Plaza. Live music, both local acts and other headliners, will take the stage in the evenings on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
“The Plaza is known for its vintage Vegas character and is proud to partner with a legendary Vegas venue like the Sand Dollar,” said Jonathan Jossel, CEO of the Plaza Hotel & Casino. “The opening of the Sand Dollar at the Plaza will create a late-night destination for live music unlike any other in downtown Las Vegas.”

This past weekend, Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclub welcomed superstars Juicy J, Big Sean and Nelly as they made their grand return to the Drai’s LIVE stage with their first live shows in more than a year. Delivering their biggest hits, plus special tributes to late legendary rappers Biz Markie and Nipsey Hussle, thousands of fans, including basketball stars Jalen Rose, Draymond Green, Josh Smith, Jayson Tatum, and Austin Daye came out to celebrate.
Rapper and producer Juicy J kicked off the electrifying weekend on Friday, July 16 with a hits-packed setlist including fan-favorites like “Bounce It” and “Bandz Make Her Dance,” as well as his Grammy-nominated collaboration “Dark Horse” with Katy Perry and “Stay Fly” with Three 6 Mafia. Paying tribute to Biz Markie, the American rap legend who had passed away earlier that day, Juicy J performed his iconic hit, “Just A Friend.”
On Saturday, July 17, in his first-ever performance since the coronavirus shutdown, multi-platinum artist Big Sean had the crowd on their feet for his smash hits “Bounce Back,” “Wolves,” “Why Would I Stop?” and paid homage to the late, legendary Nipsey Hussle.
