The Team USA Pep Rally kicks off the USA Sevens International Rugby Tournament as fans officially welcome the United States men's and women's rugby teams to Las Vegas at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino.

Immediately following the pep rally, both Team USA men's and women's players, Coach Mike Friday and Coach Richard Walker will be available for interviews during a “media scrum.”

In addition to the endless candy options, guests can choose from two glass cases filled with homemade ice cream and gelato, or milkshakes, fresh homemade pastries, and coffee.

Extravagant chandeliers and luxurious red booths adorn the main dining room that leads to a full service indoor and outdoor goblet and daquiri bar emulating the look of a white marble carousel. On the second floor, guests enter the "Sugar Factory Attraction" with a whimsical "candyland" themed 14-seat horse-drawn carousel surrounded by 5,000 light-up candy flowers, oversized cupcakes, lollipops, and animal sculptures that overlook spectacular views of The Strip. The garden leads to a private gazebo covered in twinkling lights available for private parties.

Sitting atop the flagship restaurant is the Sugar Factory Chocolate Lounge where chocolate lovers' fantasies are turned into reality in a space embellished with gold and caramel tones and floor-to-ceiling windows. The menu features an abundant selection of decadent chocolate-based martinis and cocktails such as German chocolate cake, chocolate mudslide martini, and the caramel truffle, all served in delectable chocolate-dipped glassware. Guests can pair their drink with an extensive selection of more than  two dozen truffles including cognac, praline nougatine, and clavados white truffle hearts. Curator Talk: Preserving Family Heirlooms, March 4, 1-2 p.m. Join Curator of Collections Carolyn Fisher as she offers advice on caring for and preserving family heirlooms for future generations. She will reveal preservation considerations that affect historical collections and discuss standard museum preservation practices that can be replicated at home. Community Safety Forum and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Recruitment Event, March 5, noon - 4 p.m. This extended version of the Museum’s monthly Community Safety Forum, held in partnership with the LVMPD and generously sponsored by NV Energy, will address the LVMPD’s ongoing efforts to “Protect the City.” LVMPD officials will discuss the department’s goal of graduating 600 new police officers in the next 18 months. In addition, this forum will serve as an officer recruitment event and informational opportunity allowing the public to learn more about the workings of the LVMPD and how to pursue a law enforcement career. Officers will conduct K9 demonstrations, body-cam demonstrations, crime scene memory tests and an agility course. Wiseguy Speaker Series, Book Signing with “Al Capone” Author Deirdre Bair, March 9, 7 p.m. National Book Award winner Deirdre Bair’s newest book represents the first new biography in more than 20 years of Capone, infamous as “Public Enemy Number One” during Prohibition. Mystikal Spins His Magic At LAX In Vegas

Athletes Love Hanging Out At Topgolf Las Vegas! Who??

Saturday was filled with sports stars at Topgolf Las Vegas, including Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon, and hockey player Teemu Selanne – named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history.

The athletes were in separate parties – Gordon hanging out in the Chairman’s Suite and on the 3rd floor with his family, while Selanne swung from a bay on the second level of the sports and entertainment venue.
