Entrée options will include: Dominic’s Hunters chicken, served with mashed potatoes and red wine mushroom sauce; sliced chimichurri steak, served with a chimichurri sauce and fried onion strings; or Therapy’s catch of the day, a fresh daily fish selection.

Dinner will conclude with dessert options, including: cast iron s’mores, crumbled carrot cake, La Dolce Vita macadamia cheesecake or sorbet. Therapy will also be serving a holiday cocktail, the Stupid Cupid, throughout the entire month of February priced at $10.

Special Opening Ceremony & Fashion Show Ushered In Chinese New Year

On Friday evening (Jan. 27, 2017) Fashion Show welcomed Chinese New Year with a special opening ceremony and ribbon cutting affair. To kick off the celebration, guests were invited to partake on a journey to China and experience cultural performances by the Sichuan Song and Dance Theater Company. Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman began the festivities and welcomed visitors and guests to Las Vegas.

Distinguished dignitaries including Michael Goldsmith (Vice President of International Marketing of LVCVA), Jim Heilmann (Senior General Manager of Fashion Show), and Xiao Xiayong, (Cultural Consul of Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco), along with Mayor Goodman joined together for the ribbon cutting, painting of the eye ceremony, and authentic lion dance to welcome the Year of the Rooster.

Guests were then treated to a runway show from Saks Fifth Ave sporting this year's best looks in hues of red and gold. To round out the celebration, the lion dance continued on with a ceremonial blessing of the department stores where team members fed the dragon red envelopes to bring good luck for the year.

New Exhibit Opens At The Springs Preserve - Boomtown 1905!

Be transported back to the era of Las Vegas as a burgeoning railroad town at the Springs Preserve’s new Boomtown 1905 exhibit. Walk through historic re-creations of the original train depot, Arizona Club, outdoor Majestic Theatre, First State Bank, Lincoln Hotel and mercantile store. Encounter interactive interpretative exhibits and period décor to learn about life in 1905-1920 Las Vegas. Take the Preserve’s trackless train to tour an original restored cottage built by the railroad in 1910, and visit representations of early businesses as you explore the faces and the places of Las Vegas’ past. This new addition to the Springs Preserve experience is open daily starting Saturday, February 4, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Free for members or included with paid general admission.

HOW TO GET THERE: Once inside the Springs Preserve, Boomtown 1905 is a quick .25 mile (approximately 1200 ft.) walk north starting at the trailhead on the Exploration Loop Trail. If you prefer to ride, roundtrip train transfer tickets will also be available starting at 9:30 a.m. daily, with the last transfer leaving Boomtown at 4:30 p.m. every afternoon. Full length train rides, which also visit historical and archaeological sites and native habitats, are available every day 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the start of every hour. Train ride and train transfer tickets are available for purchase at the main ticket window, the trailhead and the Arizona Club.
