The Bellagio Fountains Named #1 Landmark In The Nation!!

its first ever Travelers’ Choice awards, TripAdvisor® has named
The Fountains of Bellagio Resort & Casino the nation’s top
landmark. The awards, based on millions
of reviews and opinions from TripAdvisor travelers, pushed the iconic dancing
fountains to the top of the list for landmark destinations in the United

by WET Design, The Fountains of Bellagio is one of the largest musical fountain
systems in the world with more than 1,200 fountains spanning 1,000 feet and
choreographed to send water soaring as high as 460 feet into the air. Since
first launched in 1998, The Fountains of Bellagio have performed more than
190,000 times.
The
Fountains of Bellagio have been masterfully choreographed to a total of 32
songs, ranging from masterworks by Luciano Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli to
tunes from Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and many others. In December 2011, Lucy in the Sky With
Diamonds by The Beatles, Billie Jean by Michael Jackson and In the Mood by
Glenn Miller were added to the song portfolio. The music is then fed through
183 speakers located around the lake perimeter creating a seamless, perfectly
timed performance from any vantage point.
Performances
are every 30 minutes Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday and
holidays from noon to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. After 7 p.m.,
performances are every 15 minutes daily.
Big Al's Comedy Club Moves To Bigger Digs!

One of Las Vegas’ hottest new comedy venues is
on the move. Starting July 3, Big Al’s
Comedy Club – named “Best Bargain Show in Las Vegas” by the staff of the Las
Vegas Review-Journal – will move from The Orleans to a larger venue at the Gold
Coast Hotel and Casino.
At
its new home in the Gold Coast Showroom, Big Al’s Comedy Club will have
additional seating and state-of-the-art equipment. Tickets will remain $19.95 (including one
drink); showtimes will move to Wednesdays through Saturdays, 7 p.m. each evening.
“In
just a couple of years, Big Al’s Comedy Club has grown into one of the most
popular comedy destinations in Las Vegas,” said Terry Jenkins, Corporate
Director of Entertainment for Boyd Gaming.
“The Gold Coast will provide additional space to accommodate larger
audiences, as well as a better experience for guests and performers. And with a location closer to the Strip,
we’ll have the opportunity to introduce Big Al’s to an entirely new group of
customers.”

Club Deportivo Guadalajara AKA Chivas Comes To Vegas & The U.S.! (Soccer!)
Club
Deportivo Guadalajara S.A. de C.V., commonly known as Chivas, announced the
roster that will travel for the club’s U.S. Tour matches this July.
The
popular Mexican soccer club with face eternal rivals and current Liga MX
champions Club America at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas on Wednesday, July 3.
The squad will then travel to San Jose, CA to face Pumas UNAM on Saturday, July
6 at Spartan Stadium, before traveling to the nation’s capital to face
four-time MLS Cup champion D.C. United on Friday, July 12 at RFK Stadium.
The
Chivas Guadalajara roster features a mix of veteran and up-and-coming players,
highlighted by captain Héctor Reynoso, goalkeeper Luis Ernesto Michel and
midfielder Patricio Araujo. The
all-Mexican roster also includes talented young players such as, defender

World Famous Popovich Pet Comedy Shines! Furry Friends Abound On Stage!
There is
a saying in showbiz that goes something along the lines of “never share the
stage or screen with animals or children.” Well someone did not pass this along
to Mr. Gregory Popovich star of the World Famous Popovich Pet Comedy Theater,
because he shares his stage with both dogs and cats alike! All of his animals
are rescues that would have otherwise faced an unknown future. Now they are
stars on the stage and they delight audiences worldwide and here in Las Vegas. Popovich’s
animal skills are so admired that he has appeared on The Tonight Show and David
Letterman.
The show
opens with Popovich joining the circus! While
in the circus he performs amazing feats of juggling and balancing. Imagine if
you were standing around eight feet away and three men were each throwing plates
at you and you had to catch them all at once. Well Popovich does and he does it
well! If you can think of a cross between Charlie Chaplin and a circus
ringmaster that will give you a good glimpse into the character of Popovich. Self-deprecating
along with an air of silliness he charms the children in the audience and has
them smiling as he and his furry friends perform their acts.
The school
number is a wonder in training! Popovich has eight-ten dogs sitting at their
desks, yes their desks as he teaches them arithmetic along with other school subjects!
Of course there is always a class clown and this one just happens to be furry. Not
once do the dogs move from their desks and they come up to the chalkboard! This
class is full of poodles, a retriever and other mixes! Sweet and an amazing
feat of training!
Also sharing
the stage are felines. Yes he can train cats! That in itself is amazing! They
all file onto stage and obey Popovich’s instructions, will not give away the
act but it is absolutely entertaining and will most likely have you looking at
your cat a little differently.
The show
runs 75 minutes so the kids never get restless. Oh and did I mention that there
are trained geese and a parrot? This is a great family fun show that will leave
a smile on both children’s and adults faces alike.

in New York City. To finish the outfit, the beauty wore custom-made,
hand-beaded stilettos from India. Rizzo posed for photos with fans at the

feisty East Coast diva spent the evening in her plush VIP table and sipped on
Ciroc cocktails and Dom Perignon champagne. Rizzo was all smiles when she
