Residents can come out and meet their local public and safety officials as well as radio celebrities while they participate in laser tag, a funhouse, carnival games and trick-or-treat alley. Proceeds support the Walnut Teen Program.

Pumpkin Painting and Photo Activity
4 to 6 p.m., Oct. 27
Children of all ages can paint their pumpkins and then have their Halloween photo taken. Parents must accompany children younger than age 5. Cost is $1 per pumpkin, per person. Photos will be mailed.
Ghosts and Goblins Halloween Parade
4 to 6 p.m., Oct. 28
Children of all ages can dress in their Halloween best and parade around Whitney Park. The Whitney seniors will choose the best costume. Parents must accompany children younger than age 5. Free event.

Hash House A Go Go partners with JDRF for the 2nd annual
pancake fundraiser!
Hash House A Go Go joins forces for the month of October with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to help raise money for the charity and its Walk to Cure Diabetes taking place on Saturday, Nov. 14.
Hash House A Go Go’s special pancake, “For the Love of Jordan,” is loaded with macadamia nuts and white chocolate and is available during breakfast, brunch and lunch hours. $2 from the sale of each of these special JDRF pancakes, priced at $7.95, will be donated to the organization.
“We’re so excited to be doing this fundraiser for the second year in a row,” said Jim Rees, owner of Hash House A Go Go. “It’s a great feeling to be able to partner our food with such a wonderful organization.”
The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch daily from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Hash House A Go Go is open until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and until 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The restaurant is located at 6800 West Sahara Avenue .
