G-Eazy Spins At Parliament Chicago

Hip-hop artist, G-Eazy owned the stage with an intimate performance at Parliament Chicago on Saturday night.

Following his sold out show at the Aragon Ballroom, the talented rapper arrived shortly after midnight with an entourage of friends, ready to bring the house down. The crowd went wild as the artist performed several hits off of his latest album, "When It's Dark Out," including "Random," Me, Myself and I," as well as the hit single, "I Might."

After his performance, the rapper and friends continued the party and enjoyed bottle service at a VIP table until the early hours of Sunday morning.

G-Eazy is currently on tour with A$AP Ferg.

Oscar Nominated Actress Alicia Vikander In Vegas! Where?

On Wednesday critically acclaimed actress and two-time Golden Globe nominee Alicia Vikander attended the world-famous “O” by Cirque du Soleil® in Las Vegas just hours before receiving her highly anticipated Oscar nomination, which was announced earlier this morning. The Danish Girl and Ex Machina actress was spotted with her family at the 9:30 p.m. show inside the Bellagio, applauding throughout the performance as the cast performed in, on and above a 1.5 million gallon pool of water. Following the show, Vikander was invited backstage for an exclusive photo opportunity with members of the cast. She thanked them for their amazing performance before leaving the theater.

Vikander was in Las Vegas filming the new Bourne movie with fellow actor Matt Damon, who was also spotted in town a couple days ago.

It was a festive Wednesday evening at Michael and Jenna Morton’s La Comida, located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas. Sarah Thomas, the NFL’s first full-time female referee, and Grahame Patrick, an Elvis tribute artist for the local “Legends in Concert” show, each stopped by the popular downtown restaurant on Wednesday evening.

Thomas, accompanied by a group of five guests, sipped on La Comida’s signature blood orange margarita and shared selections including queso fundido, fajitas, carnitas and carne asada tacos with her group. The group appeared in great spirits and commented on how much they enjoyed the food.

Patrick, a friend of resident mixologist John O’Donnell, sat at the bar and sipped on a blood orange margarita. He was overheard commenting on his upcoming tour dates with “Elvis das Musical.”

Rhythm & Blues Musician Robert Cray Coming To The Orleans Showroom

Renowned rhythm and blues musician Robert Cray and his band will perform at The Orleans Showroom Jan. 23-24.

Formed in 1974 and based in the Northwest, The Robert Cray Band played gigs in Portland and Eugene, Ore., before branching out farther on the west coast, including Seattle and the San Francisco area. Early on, the band toured with electric blues guitarist Albert Collins, and by 1983, the group was sharing the stage at Carnegie Hall with the likes of John Lee Hooker and Willie Dixon.

Credited by “Rolling Stone” with reinventing the blues with his “distinct razor-sharp guitar playing,” Cray “introduced a new generation of mainstream rock fans to the blues” with his album “Strong Persuader” in 1986.

Since then, Cray has recorded 16 Billboard-charting albums and received 15 Grammy Award nominations, of which he won five. In 2014, The Robert Cray Band released the album “In My Soul,” which spent 20 weeks on the Billboard Blues Albums chart, peaking at #1.

Known for more than just his guitar skills, this multi-talented singer, songwriter and producer has played with a cross-section of legendary musicians, including Chuck Berry, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton and Tina Turner.

Cray was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2011. At 57, he was one of the youngest living recipients of the prestigious honor. The members of The Robert Cray Band include Les Falconer on percussion, Dover Weinberg on keyboards and Richard Cousins on bass guitar.
