Chew on this! The Juice Standard, Las Vegas’ innovative juice bar located at 4555 S. Fort Apache and 2530 St. Rose Pkwy., has introduced a new “chewing menu” complete with chia treats, salads, wraps and snacks, featuring the same 100 percent organic produce it presses into it raw, cold-pressed liquids.
Priced at $6 each, the store’s new lineup of protein-packed chia seed puddings come in three flavors featuring a Juice Standard signature nut milk:
• ChocoChia: Combines chia seeds and the popular Bee Happy, a blend of cashews, Brazil nuts, coconut water, raw local honey, cacao, vanilla and pink Himalayan sea salt.
• ChaiChia: A mixture of chia seeds with Bee Legendary, a chai and eggnog-inspired concoction made from cashews, Brazil nuts, raw local honey, turmeric, ginger, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, clove and black pepper.
• HorCHIAata: Chia seeds and The Juice Standard’s Bee Magnificent, a blend of cashews, walnuts, coconut oil, vanilla, agave and pink Himalayan sea salt.
The fresh field greens salad, priced at $10, is a light option of mixed field greens, micro greens, grape tomatoes, julienne carrots, avocado, pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries, which can be made portable by ordering in a sundried tomato wrap, priced at $10.50. Salad dressings include house-made ginger-soy, lemon dill vinaigrette, or Green Goddess— a mixture of organic Greek yogurt, Bee Alkaline juice, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. For yogurt lovers, the Greek yogurt parfait, priced at $7, is a freshly layered blend of organic vanilla Greek yogurt, house-made granola and organic seasonal fruit, with the option of adding housemade chocolate granola for an additional $1.50.
New snack selections include the protein-packed banana leathers, chewy dehydrated organic banana slices paired with an organic, house-made cashew-walnut butter, priced at $5; and dates with cashew-walnut butter, which provide an energy boost, priced at $5 for eight dates.
